Importance of great branding

We all know of fantastic branding and could reel off plenty of them, Google, Coca Cola, or even Dominoes. Why is branding important and isn't it just the logo?

Branding is about the customer experience, everything from your logo, your website and even Facebook posts.  Branding can also be the way you answer the phone or treat your customers.  Your brand can add value to your organisation as it is how your customers perceive you.  If they think you are great then it will be easy to attract and keep loyal customers. Many small companies and startups forget about focusing on the brand of their business resulting in a lack of strategic point of difference.

A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well.
